During Heike Pisarius-Will's childhood, singing was a common activity in her family. Before studying with Kammersänger Eberhard Büchner, Prof. Peter Tschaplik,
Christiane Bach-Röhr, and Siegfried Eisenbach played a key role in her education. She also attended master classes in singing and took lessons with Prof. Helmut Kretschmar.
Heike Pisarius-Will subsequently received awards at international music competitions. In Italy, she won second prize in the voice and piano duo at the Euterpe International Music Competition.
Heike Pisarius-Will has sung solo parts with orchestras at various concert venues such as the Great Hall of the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Nikolaisaal Potsdam or the Chamber Music Hall of the Philharmonie Berlin.
Her concert programs are diverse. She performs in duos with her husband, Klaus-Peter Will, or accompanied by ensembles. In addition to oratorio singing, Heike Pisarius-Will feels a particular affinity with the music of important lieder composers such as Schubert, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Grieg, and Brahms. She also enjoys creating programs from opera, operetta, musicals, and film music.
From the estate of the “Three Rulands”, which followed the “Comedian Harmonists”, Heike Pisarius-Will received sheet music arrangements of this period from Helmut Buth’s widow for further performance - such as “Irgendwo auf der Welt gibt’s ein kleinen bisschen Glück” and “Ich braucht keine Millionen” (Music, Music, Music).
Klaus-Peter Will, who comes from a family of musicians whose relatives include the composer Leoš Janáček and the guitarist Heinrich Albert, followed the family tradition
and first took piano lessons from his father, Karl-Heinz Will, and then from Heinz Zimbehl, a pupil of the legendary Claudio Arrau. For lied accompaniment, he received
additional impulses from Rudolf Dunckel, the duo partner of Peter Schreier and Theo Adam.

He graduated with top marks in piano performance from the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. After graduating, Klaus-Peter Will won prizes at international music competitions. In Italy, he was awarded 2nd prize in the chamber music duo at the Euterpe International Music Competition.
As a pianist, Klaus-Peter Will has performed with classical in the main hall of the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Philharmonie Berlin, the Nikolaisaal Potsdam and other renowned venues.
